May 11, 2010 - A Mother’s Day Dinner Celebration was hosted at the Jordan Downs Recreation Center. The mothers of Jordan Downs were invited to enjoy this event recognizing their importance in building strong families and were offered the opportunity to join Motivated Mothers of Jordan Downs. Motivated Mothers of Jordan Downs aims to promote, empower and engage the mothers of Jordan Downs through education, opportunity and support. Like a village, the Moms of JD will unite grandmothers, new mothers, neighbors and resources in an effort to:
