| Watts is changing with the helps of a women group, Motivated Mothers, introduced by John King, Director of Planning and Policy and the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles. The Motivated Mothers of Jordan Downs is a group of dedicated moms committed creating a better environment for their kids. At the meetings, mothers get important info from parenting strategies to health care to how navigate the school system for their children. Free transportation gets moms to the monthly gathering where they can catch up the women who become their support system. |
